We prefer that you submit work that has not been previously shared on social media platforms. In some instances, we will consider your submission if you submit the art work with story telling components that are made original to NEO-SOCIAL and if your overall submission has particularly high relevancy to our themes of connection to self, to other and to place.

We tailor artist agreements to the specific circumstances of a project, such as a loan of artwork, a commission, digital or in-person exhibition. A standard, 1-month in-app installation agreement (ie no commission) means the artist keeps copyrights and intellectual property.

In all instances, however, we work with you to put the right agreement in place.

Short answer: yes - for a standard in-app installation if we dig your work enough to feature it, we value it enough to pay you for letting us showcase it to our members. We pay a flat fee of $200 for installations we select for in-app placement. Selected Artists also receive 1-year complimentary membership to NEO-SOCIAL.

In cases where we, for example, commission works or request permission for multi-use installations like physical installations in addition to in-app installations we would arrange different payment terms that honor the full nature of the engagement.

We're invested in our members having a unique experience not offered by any other platform. In our standard Artist agreement, we ask that Artists:

• Agree to not publicly share the featured artwork on social media or other online platforms until the conclusion of the NEO-SOCIAL exhibition period


• After a defined period following the residency, the Artists may share their work outside of NEO-SOCIAL. The storytelling, conceptual context, and elements specifically designed for our member experience should remain unique to the platform. In certain cases, we may collaborate with Artists to adapt elements in support of our mission and members’ experience; these adaptations should likewise remain exclusive to NEO-SOCIAL

You are free to use our submission form to share works you come across that you'd like other members to relate to as well. We'll reach out to the original artist, and if the installation comes together, we'll send a gift of gratitude your way too.
